WHERE ARE YOUR EVENTS HELD?
On the events field, known simply as 'the field', behind the wayfarer brew pub & dining rooms in parbold. 1-3 Alder LAnE, Parbold, WN8 7NL.
DO I NEED A TICKET TO ATTEND YOUR EVENTS?
YES INDEED! TICKETS/WRISTBANDS CAN BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE OR IN SOME INSTANCES ON THE GATE ON THE DAY.
WHERE CAN I BUY TICKETS?
TICKETS FOR PROBLEM CHILD EVENTS ARE AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE PROBLEM CHILD EVENTS WEBSITE. (YOU'RE HERE ALREADY, LUCKY YOU!)
Day TICKETS CAN BE PURCHASED ON THE GATE, AVAILABILITY DEPENDING.
CAMPING TICKETS MUST ALWAYS BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE VIA THE WEBSITE.
CAN WE CAMP AT PROBLEM CHILD EVENTS?
ALL OF OUR FESTIVALS HAVE CAMPING AVAILABLE. THIS CAN BE BOOKED ONLINE VIA THE PROBLEM CHILD EVENTS WEBSITE AND INCLUDES A WEEKEND FESTIVAL TICKET.
CAMPING MUST ALWAYS BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE SO YOU CAN BE ALLOTTED A SUITABLE CAMP SITE.
WILL EVENTS BE CANCELLED IN THE EVENT OF BAD WEATHER?
BAD WEATHER? IN THE UK? NEVER HEARD OF IT.
We will try our best to continue with the event in all weather conditions.
both the stage and main bar area are under cover, PONCHOS WILL BE AVAILABLE, and we will be certain to do a sun dance the night before (RESULTS VARY).
IS IT CASH OR CARD ONLY PAYMENTS?
OUR FESTIVALS ARE CASHLESS EVENTS, THEREFORE WE ONLY ACCEPT CARD PAYMENTS.
ALL MAJOR CARDS ARE ACCEPTED.
IS THERE DISABLED ACCESS?
Our festival field is easily accessible, AND there are no steps or tight access areas.
please bear in mind there maybe some uneven surfaces.
CAN I BRING MY DOG?
ABSOLUTELY, just please keep them on a lead and clean up after them.
WHAT DO I DO IN CASE OF A MEDICAL EMERGENCY?
There is a first aid kit located at the entrance gate AND We WILL have trained first aiders on site.
WHAT ITEMS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT YOUR EVENTS?
PLEASE NOTE You may be searched on entry to the event site.
Any items that may be used in an illegal or offensive manner will be confiscated. No responsibility is given for the return of confiscated items. If you are in possession of illegal substances you may be arrested.
• Illegal substances – we operate a zero tolerance on drugs/legal highs and entry will be refused for those attempting to enter the event with any.
• Glass (of any kind) or cans including spray cans or gas canisters.
• Laser equipment or pens
• Fireworks, flares, Chinese lanterns, klaxons, air horns or other similar items capable of making loud noise and any item which may reasonably be considered for use as a weapon.
• Bicycles, skateboards, scooters, roller blades, personal motorised vehicles UNLESS A MOBILITY SCOOTER.
• Umbrellas or parasols of any kind.
• YOUR OWN Food & Drink.

WHEN DOES THE FESTIVAL START AND END?
Our Originals Festival starts at 12pm on Saturday 16th May with the first band on stage at 1pm. The last band is on at 9:30pm finishing around 10:30pm.
We go again on Sunday 17th from 12pm again with the first band on stage at 1pm and our final band on at 4:45pm.
WHAT TIME DOES THE CAR PARK OPEN?
Our festival car park will be open from 8:30am on Saturday and from 11:30am on the Sunday. There will be a small charge of £3 per car on entry.
DO I HAVE TO HAVE A FESTIVAL CUP?
Glass and bottles are not permitted on the festival field.
SO TO REDUCE UNNECESSARY WASTE, A REUSABLE FESTIVAL CUP IS PROVIDED AS PART OF YOUR TICKET.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I LOSE MY FESTIVAL CUP OR WANT ADDITIONAL CUPS?
YOU CAN PURCHASE ADDITIONAL FESTIVAL CUPS FOR £1 AT THE ENTRANCE GATE.
WILL FOOD BE AVAILABLE ON THE DAY?
YOU BET! !! With vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options available.
WE SHARE THE FULL MENU AHEAD OF THE FESTIVAL, JUST CHECK THE ORIGINALS PAGE ON THE WEBSITE.
CAN WE BUY DRINKS INSIDE THE WAYFARER AND TAKE THEM TO THE FESTIVAL?
We have our amazing Problem Child Festival bar on the field, with a great selection of beers, spirits, and soft drinks.
But if your tipple isn’t available, yes you can buy from inside the pub but it will need to be in a festival cup. No glass or bottles are permitted on the festival field.
WHAT IS THE STRONGMAN COMPETITION AND CAN I JOIN IN?
We are the event venue for the North West Strength Classic competition hosted by The PT unit. This is a pre-registration event. Please see www.strengthregister.com for HOW TO JOIN.
